This is one of the most hilarious quizzes ever! Very classic! I think I might add this to the "About this site" section for my blog...

I am nerdier than 82% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

Voila, here are some more books I've finished so far, and I guess I won't be reading any more novels for personal entertainment for the rest of this semester, because I already have a pile of homework with lots of reading to do! So sadly, I had to return the unread books back to the library.

Addiction and Obsessed by G.H. Ephron --->Psychology + medicine = very fascinating!

In other news, I've watched this cheesy comedy film called Kung Phooey! about a couple of days ago, and the jokes they made are horribly stupid, but funny. Even the characters' names are made fun of. I recommend it to everyone, if you guys want a Friday's Laughing/Comedy Night for yourselves.

Anyway, I used to hate anime, because I used to think they're mindless, stupid cartoons, but when I started watching a few (my sister introduced the world of anime to me, by bringing loads of anime dvd's home and whatnot), some were pretty good. Of course, anime is so unAmerican and they have endings that made you think, unlike the predictable/happy/sometimes lame endings in American cartoons. Watching this stuff helped me understand what the Japanese culture is like and how it is quite feverishly popular in America today. Not only do the Japanese brainstorm some great storylines, but they are artists! I mean, look at The Grudge, for example. It is based on the Japanese version, Ju-on, and the only thing that is holding up the American version of this same storyline is that we have the famous Sarah Michelle Gellar to get the box office tons of cash! And it's the same case with the American version of The Ring as well.

Now, it would make us wonder whether America is losing its imagination. What happened to the creativity? the originality in people? Are they so full of money-greedy-minds that they are looking towards other countries to do the thinking for them, in such things like storylines for movies? I am taking Playwriting now, and I will be working on my portfolio this semester, and I can't wait! BUT... If you're going to be a screenwriter (for movies/films, etc.), be original! Don't "borrow" ideas from other countries! Have we forgotten the meaning of the true heart of the artist?! I sure hope not! (And on second thought, I also wonder if other countries borrow ideas from us as well, and some include "democracy" and our educational system. The list goes on. Oh yeah, the world does go in circles, doesn't it?)

[But to note what I've been watching recently, I've finished most of the episodes of Please Teacher!, and it's such a heartfelt story on love. A student has to marry his sexy teacher, because they were caught in this room together, and to get away from punishment they had to lie that they were married, when originally, they weren't. They barely knew each other! The thing that makes everything complicated is that the teacher is an alien, and the student has some kind of a psychological breakdown at times, which the term "standstill" is coined in this anime. But... If you really want to know, go watch! I don't really want to spoil the ending.]

Anyway, this week went by fairly quickly. I actually enjoyed all of my classes so far, and the professors are really enthusiastic and interesting. I love the methods they use for teaching their lectures (I hate textbook-ridden teachers, and non-interactive teachers who don't want to let students interact/participate in class.). And... I actually think that my U.S. History class would be enjoyable this semester. Wow! That's a change, because I always dread history, and if given any other subject, I would totally avoid it! The only class I can't wait to attend is my clinical psychology class... So I'm going to have to wait until Saturday to see how it's like.

Phooey! That's enough rambling for now! I must bore you guys to tears, right?! I sure hope not!

Love you! Signing off for now!
