My birthday was really lovely. (I'm happy, because it's been years since I've had a lovely one.) Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes, e-cards, and presents. Thank you, April, for the Lotus theme layout. It gave me an inspirational Oriental feeling. :) This weekend (I think), I will be having my 20th birthday photo posted here, so I'll be going to Star Shots at Almeda. So that'll be interesting. You guys will finally see the real life A~Lotus in person (sorta).

Remember those cheesy nature/scary attacks movies, like those movies with killer bees, giant spiders, Godzilla, etc. that dominated the earth and obliterated everything in sight, and then at the end of the movie(s), the protagonists still survived? Well, after coming home yesterday from school, my whole family and I were attacked by a swarm of JUMBO black flies! And thanks to the invention of fly swatters, we managed to kill them all! At first, we thought it was because of the humid, sticky rainy weather... but, well, it turned out that there was a dead rat in the attic, and thus, that's where all the flies were coming from!! My gosh, I thought that those flies would never stop popping up. After we killed one, there's another... SWAT! Oh, look there's another one!

Anyway, I've been noticing a certain fashion accesory to cars as of late. There are ribbon stickers on car bumpers everywhere I go, and I'm trying to figure out if that's a certain fashion trend for cars now? What is up with that? For example, pink ribbon stickers for breast cancer awareness, yellow ones for "supporting our troops," red-white-blue ones for patriotism, etc. Did I miss something? LOL. It's just interesting to note, and besides, the article I found actually kinda read my mind. Some of the writings on the ribbon stickers are soooooo tiny that you'd risk a car accident if you're trying to decipher what's written on them. What a strange world we live in. Never fails to amuse me.

Aside from these musings, I'm having a hard time trying to figure out a schedule to finish 6-7 essays by the end of this semester! I am dreading these essays, because I'm trying to figure out how will I ever pull this off? I mean, it's 7 essays!! Boohoohoo!! *moans, groans, cries*

On the bright side, I can't wait for Thanksgiving! The essence of foooood!! and of course, I have much to be thankful for!

I'm just ready for a long break, because I'm super tired.

Ooooh, guess what, you guys??! If all is well, I think I'll be working at Sam Goody at Almeda this Christmas! Yay! Not only do I need to start my own personal savings account, but did I mention that I need the cash for daily necessities?? Seriously, I'm on 2 loans for school (thank God, the interest rates are low), and so I need the cash to start saving up by the time I graduate so I can pay back the money I borrowed, since UST's tuition is sooo expensive. So April, maybe you'll see me there some time?? *wink*

Anyway, I'd love to meet all of you guys here on Blogdom, but talk about the measurement called DISTANCE! Whew! *giggles*

Well, it's been a long week. Yes, I'm always on the go (so great of you to pick that up, April *wink*), even though I'm at times restless and exhausted simultaneously.

Did I also mention that I miss people? I haven't seen my high school close knit of friends for almost 2 years already!! *cry* Such is life, but I'm optimistic. I know we'll cross paths again.

Toodles for now, everyone! Think I've rambled enough. *grins* Take care!
