A couple of days ago, my poor arm was slighty singed by a cigarette. *gasps* I know, but it felt like a tiny electric shock to me. What happened was this girl who was smoking and talking loudly to her group of friends while I walked pass by her on the walkway on my way to class. UNEXPECTEDLY and SUDDENLY, she flung out her left arm and managed to burn me with her cigarette. Everyone heard the loud hiss from the contact of flesh and the cigar, and voila, now there's a black smoky imperfect dot on my right arm. She was mortified and was asking me constantly if I was okay and that she was so sorry. I nodded and gave a chuckle, and just went quickly away from her, so as to not only draw more attention to myself and my "injured arm," but it didn't hurt until I went home and nursed myself. Gosh, now I know how victims of house fires feel like when they're burned, but fortunately for me, it's only the butt of a cigar. I had enough cream on my arm to last me for days if it is necessary... But it still looks disgusting... 
Anyway, I've been a lot busy these days, and I haven't disappeared yet. School has kept me busy! But I love it, and *crosses fingers* I do hope I passed that psych exam yesterday... Oh, and guess what? I think it seems like I've managed to land myself a part-time job at the downtown church as a bilingual receptionist. How cool is that? I need to contact the pastor there though... Anyway, somehow I've managed to bloghop and post at least once a week, so that way, I won't have to miss you guys so much! 
TO ALL STARRY FRIENDS (on my buddy list here, of course)  :
1. There are some of you who have been changing your URL blog/site addresses, please tell me that you've changed them so I can edit my template, ok? I hate not knowing where you guys are and let me cry about it... *sniffles* So please check my links.
2. There are some of you whom I've been bloghopping and visiting for a really long time, and I don't even know your real names. I'd like it very much if you would tell me your REAL names. This is only optional. I know some of you probably prefer aliases or nicknames, but would it hurt if you could just give me your real names? I like it more personal if you know what I mean. And NO, I have no intention of stalking or even bothering to go after you guys... I have a REALLY BUSY LIFE!! LOL.
And for those of you who don't already know, my name is Kathy, but I go by A~Lo (thanks to Ric) and A~Lotus.  I have the FAQ's on the sidebar if you care to look/know. Hehe.
Well, I think that's that. And HA! I didn't forget what I was going to say this time! Other than, TGIF! I think tomorrow I may be heading over to AstroWorld for a nice free BBQ cookout + lots of ice cream sandwiches, popsicle sticks, etc. for families and whatnot, sooooooooo... that'll be a great stress reliever!! Woohoo!! I'm gonna go check out the new rides! Yes, I've ridden mostly all the "scary" ones. I'm that crazy...  (Dad's company got us free tickets... The company gives tickets out 2x every year.)
