Pichu, our 1-2 month old puppy is growing up big now. He's so adorable---snowy white when he's clean and not dirt-muddy, who loves to run around your legs trying to trip you and can now learn a trick---when you put your hand over his back, he'll crouch down with his tail wagging, giving you the most cutesy puppy-happy face ever. I've forgotten to mention him in many journal entries before, but gosh, just today, Pichu is just insanely bubbly and frolicky. You can't get away from him, and I was trying so hard not to trip over him... LOL.
We now have a total of, I think, 5 more eggs in the little birdhouse we've made for the parakeets, two of which grew feathers and are now hopping about the cage. Now we have a grand total of 10 birds, and I think we need a bigger cage soon.
Have you ever woke up one morning just to find that there are 2 and a half inch scratch marks on your right arm?? That's the weirdest thing in the world, because I now have those scratch marks for about a week already. The first few days, it hurt and stung whenever I wash my arms with antibacterial soap and water. Now, those marks are quite healed and closed up, but they are still visible. I'm trying to figure out how and where in the world did I get those marks from?? And I don't remember scratching myself, or hurting myself, or any of that in any way!! *gawks at the marks* Gosh, I know that I have a pretty good memory, but hopefully, I did not have any memory lapses, because it's just plain shocking and a bit scary on my part to know that I don't know where those wounds came from... *shrug*
Volunteer Hours: This past Monday = 30 min., Thursday = 0., and Friday = 5 hrs. My schedule is getting a bit haywired again. This coming Monday would be something new, due to the fact that I'll be seeking that position for teaching for CCE---this time, getting paid so I can save up more $$$$ for school-related expenses. And I'm a modest spender really. I have to buy something that I'll actually use, and it's kinda hard for me to buy something I don't have my heart set on, because then I'll forget that I've bought it myself. And the things that I don't use at all end up sitting in a pile of dust... Ewww. I think I'll avoid that one, because I'm allergic to dust.
Oh, and I'm thinking about submitting in another application for a scholarship. Which of these following categories do you think my interests as a "clinical neuropsychologist" fit under exactly?? I'm having a hard time, because what I like to do combines art, math and science, and public service... and maybe a bit of education too. HELP ME!! (I have until August 11th to submit other miscellaneous stuff that goes along with the aps.)
The categories are: Art, Business, Education, Nursing, Math and Science, and Public Service. It would be a dream to actually be one of the scholarship recipients attending that conference and get to meet some really well-known people like TV anchorpersons, or journalists, or writers, or psychologists!! Well, the site is here if you want to visit it. =^-^=
*huggles* Have a great weekend, everyone! Take care now! =^-^=
