Rambles, ponderings, rants, and nonsense...

I just finished watching White Chicks, a recent comedy flick, and it was so hilarious. If you'd already watched Mrs. Doubtfire, then well, this movie is just another twisted version. You have two African American FBI agents, Marcus and Kevin, dressing up as two ditzy blondes (the wealthy Wilton sisters) in order to find out who's behind the drug dealing, cheating and fraud game. While doing so, these agents enter a girly world filled with shopping, competing with the Wilton sisters' childhood rivals, and learning what it means to be in a committed relationship... or friendship, for that matter. This movie isn't entirely original, for it reminds me of a cross between Rush Hour and Mrs. Doubtfire, but it sure boosts up a few good laughs, especially if you had such a really miserable day.
Updates:
Funny how my tooth pains vanished the day before the doc's appointment, but I sure feel a whole lot better now, plus my teeth are sparkly clean. Time to smile!! =)
But I have another doc's appointment---got to go to the optometrist, because it's now my 2-year checkup. A change of style really---I'm thinking about getting contacts---but the problem is, what color(s) aside from clear?
I have 45 more days or so till school starts. I'm bubbling with excitement. I'm happy with my schedule this semester---another year of psych!! Yay!
I forgot today was Friday, because I thought today's Saturday.
Yesterday, I was watching the news. An intoxicated man just stumbled in front of the tracks of the MetroRail, and now, he's in critical condition. Thank God, he's still alive. Geez, if you hear the bells ringing and stuff, you should've heard that the train is coming!! Here's a nice photo of Houston's MetroRail at this website: here. I see them go by everyday...
I wonder when we're going to move. I've lived in this same house for 16 years (my brother's age). Before that, however, I'd lived in apartment complexes next to some really weird and drunk neighbors, although there were a few who were caring and really friendly. I could still remember those times when I was surrounded by drunken guests who frequently flocked to my apartment late at night and tried to smother me with their awful beer-smelling kisses, while my dad was the host of this little drunken party. Gave me the creeps, even to this day. It was a good thing that my mom stole me away from those drunks and wiped my face clean and tried to calm me down, while I was crying hysterically. Hey, I was about 3-4 years old, what'd you expect me to do? Tried running and they grabbed me. Grrr, even to this day, I still hate people when they're drunk. You'd never know what unexpected things may come from them. *shudder*
But anyway, my parents are still discussing the "idea" of moving somewhere. Don't know where, but I'd like a change. Would be nice. I need to know another place more. I know this place enough---forwards and backwards...
Well, that's a bit of a story there, eh? LOL. Good day, everyone! Take care! And hope you guys have a nice weekend!
