Hi, everyone! Well, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday... And for those who don't celebrate this day, hehe, not to worry, you had your reasons---and besides, it was interesting to know about each country's holidays anyway. And to tell you the truth, I don't really celebrate the 4th of July as most Americans do---going to a big barbeque cookout with fireworks display at the beach, etc. I just stayed home and the 4th of July just passed by like any other day, but yeah, I did hear some firecrackers exploding in the distance. My dad tried burning some firecrackers himself, but unfortunately my mom's 2002 Honda Accord kept wailing its alarm system for the whole neighborhood to hear. I cringed every time. It's even worse when we had a couple of days' worth of raining. Lightning flashes, thunder strikes BOOM!, and off goes that darn car's alarm. LOL.
Anyway, for a couple of days already, my back tooth hurts. I thought that this was the mere beginnings of having cavities. I mean I never had cavities before, and with the various confessions from my friends and other people I know, I'm downright paranoid of having them myself. I brushed and flossed daily, and well, I didn't see any holes, which was a big relief. But after chewing on that chicken drumstick yesterday, my gums hurt. And when I poke my finger in my mouth trying to feel the lump in the back of my teeth, it felt like a new baby tooth is about to sprout out of those gums. And it even felt the same when I run my tongue over it too. Teething. It's no wonder how I felt like biting on things as of late. Martin suggests that I start chewing on cloves with water, etc. *gags* I'm always having oral problems every so once in a while---speaking to people ('cause I stutter quite often and I'm shy), swollen gums (and so the doc said for me to gurgle salt water for a few days), wisdom teeth always growing on the upper right of my teeth, and now this!! This!! Arrghh!! *winces* It hurts, can't chew on my left correctly. And kinda sadly ironic how my dentist appointment is scheduled conveniently tomorrow. Ahhh!! Why? Why does this always happen to me??!!
