Again, I think I might have broken all of my previous reading records. I've read 7 books in less than a week, given that each novel is at least 200+ pages with fairly small font size. These books were awesome:
Caroline B. Cooney: Prisoner of Time and Tune in Anytime
Sophie Kinsella: Can You Keep a Secret?
Parnell Hall: Murder and Trial
Laurell K. Hamilton: Seduced by Moonlight and A Kiss of Shadows
I just watched Spiderman 2, and I thought that it was a pretty good action movie---so much more action than the first one. I didn't like the first movie as much, because all they did was talk and talk and talk some more, and it just drilled me off to sleep. This new movie, however, is like another funny version of having a bad luck day, with the protagonist, Peter Parker, finds that he's nearly failing his college courses, forgetting his own birthday, never showing up to any of his best friends' important occasions and events, not keeping his promises, not being able to pay rent, not being able to have money, and then, what's more shocking is that his sticky spider web abilities are slowly diminishing. Is he still Spiderman anymore? Can he still save the world one day at a time? Anyway, if you guys haven't watched it yet, I won't spoil the ending for you! But all in all, it wasn't too bad; it was fun!
I just finished deep-boiling another 2 and 3/4 batches of eggrolls. Hot oil splattering on human skin is one of the most painful things ever... It's a good thing I'm careful enough not to end up in the hospital with 3rd degree burns, although at the moment, I have to nurse my small wounds with a few packs of ice. Big ouch.
You know, sometimes, I'm an email-checker freak. The first thing when I get online is to check my email. I'm then greeted by hundreds of junk email and then I start emptying out my junk folder from all of the excess. Yep, all goes in the trash.
Wow, just wow. It's finally July! I can't believe it! I mean, a month of summer just passed by! Well, and then I'll be back at school around the 20's in August...
I keep forgetting what I was going to say every single time I get on here. Am I the only one? And so to make up for what I've forgotten, I ramble---like I'm doing now... *shrug* Oh well, my short-term memory ran away from me again... I'll catch it later if I'm in the mood for it... *wink* Happy Day, everyone! =)
