Well, it's already 3 days! And the phone line is still dead. I'm tired of calling these AT&T folks. Can't they just fix our phone line already??? There's still no dial tone, and we need to use the phone!!! Also, no one has been able to call us at all!! Should we switch back to Southwestern Bell?? Grrr, these phone services get on my nerves sometimes...
Had fried fish for dinner some nights ago, and almost burnt them. Seriously, I'm the worst cook in the world! The only advanced cooking skills I have is when I deep-fry those nice homemade eggrolls... =P Other than that, I'm horrible at culinary arts...
I am finally able to register for my classes for this coming fall semester... I'm gonna drive over there to UST this Wednesday to do so---otherwise I've been waiting ever so patiently, because they were trying to get my financial aid paperwork processed and verified before I'm able to register.
I've just gotten the nice opportunity to tell a dear friend of mine that I think my family is cursed. How? Well, we have a family history of people drowning. Therefore, I'm not entirely hydrophobic, but I'm very much afraid of just taking the risk of learning how to swim, especially whenever summer rolls around. My sister already passed away in 1997 because she drowned at Lake Conroe, and no one was able to save her. I, on the other hand, love water... I love being near it---it soothes me, and it sparks much poetry in me. I never had any problems with water, but sometimes the fear of death crosses my mind. But as it is, I think a person drowns for every generation, so of course, it'd make sense that I won't be Time's next drowning victim. Thus, I think my family is cursed in that sense. And I'm just glad to know that I'm not only one with this kind of creepy history in my family. I've heard worst.
I sometimes do things at the strangest times. For example, I wash the dishes 2am, when normally, most people do that right after dinnertime. I'm beginning to eat my meals backwards: dessert first, then veggies, then side course, then main course... *blink, blink* I'm weird. LOL. I like reading novels backwards at times. It's fun. I eat everything with spoons... even spaghetti... when you're supposed to use forks, I use chopsticks. =) I put on shoes and socks left first, before right... I do that even with earrings... left first, then right. Oh yeah, my nails grow perfectly on my left hand, but they're usually chipped on my right... hehe... Cheers to the Union of the Weirds. =P
