Hi, everyone!! Sorry for not updating for a while! And more BIG apologies for not being able to visit everyone's nice sites... *cry* I've been busy, trying to study my @$$ off for all of these exams! I'm nearly done! Just one more to go---and tomorrow I'm gonna kick @$$ with that psych exam. =D
And pretty! I'm in awe with the new changes to Blogger. I like it. =) teehee... Yeah, I'm so amused.
Thanks everyone for leaving messages for me on the taggie and on the Haloscan comment form... =) Makes me feel really happy that I'm so glad to have come here to Blogger to make it my OWN personal home... unlike the weird confusing html and in-some-cases-trashy Livejournal... But anyway, I miss you guys!! A WHOLE LOT! And now, I'm here to post, and just looking at the date of my last entry, *whistles*, wow! almost a week ago!!! Yikes! Sorry about that!
Anyway, let's see what has happened to me this past week or since the last time I updated... LOL...
1) I finally watched Finding Nemo! Awww, I like the story and the graphics... Tis awesome!
2) I'm so glad that the local library near my house is finally open! Otherwise, I had to go down MapQuest just to find other libraries in Houston! I mean it's so insane. They renovate that building, what it seems, like every couple of years!! GRRRRR... Can't you just leave it as is, you know? There are people who need to check out books here!!
3) Guess what? I have 5 haiku published at UST's literary magazine called Laurels! I'm happy! =) And my English professor really liked my haiku and told me to keep on writing! =) And some of my friends who've read the magazine said that they really liked it too... I can't wait to decide what to write so I could submit it to the next issue.
4) Mother's Day was nice. There were people at my house, and it was loud, and I found it very difficult to study for my chem exam (which I took today), but I'm glad I've studied like 5 hours worth before everyone showed up. I made a nice flower-pressed art piece for my mom. Glad she liked that. Worked really hard on it too...
5) Exercising is nice. It works wonders for my aching back... I know I need to take care of my back, because I've sprained it before...pulled a muscle or something a couple of or so years back...
6) Hanging out with new friends is cool. =) And after tomorrow, I've finally finished 1 year of college! I'm gonna miss everyone over the summer, though... But then, I have a stretch of summer ahead of me! =) Woohoo!!! *bounces around*
7) I have some of the freakiest dreams lately... Come to think of it, I can't even remember what I dreamt about now... *shrug* Ah well...
8) The weather has been humid... Ewwie, ewww! Tis so bad to live in Houston over the summer. It's not an ideal summer visiting spot for tourists/visitors, but hey, I've lived here all my life! =P
9) Tomorrow's my brother's birthday... It's always so hard finding a present for guys, in general... But knowing my brother, he likes electronics, technology, computers, etc... You get the idea... LOL... I got him this nice thingee-majigee that opens up automatically when you press this button, and it shows the time, date, calendar, etc... It's really cool... Not a PDA though, but ah, whatever... Don't remember what it's called... hehe...
10) I'm such a bookworm as of late. Well, I'm reading another book by Laurell K. Hamilton, and it's called Cerulean Sins. hehe. Can't wait to finish it.
11) You know that 100 AWESOME List I have yet to finished? I only got like the next 5 for now, but I'll post 20 each time... and it's taking me forever to think of the things I haven't listed yet! =P
12) Being a moderator of TW is actually tough and easy at the same time. Tough, because sometimes you have to delete posts that are inappropriate or answer a member's questions---and easy, because you get to make the forum fun! =) And it's a very interactive forum too.
13) I think I'm gonna end this "list of happenings" here... LOL. Other than that, I've been very much content with life and busy studying for those torturous exams! And yeah, some moments between those two that I sometimes feel like I'm a loner---or the loner of all loners... But to think on it, I know I have friends and family and people out there who never cease to make me laugh and smile! So thank you!
Well, tis a long post! A week since! If I were to ramble on, I think I could write a novel out of this entry (but I won't)! *winks* LOL. Have a wonderful Monday/Tuesday everyone (depending on where you are in this world that is, considering the difference in time... LOL)! *hugs*
