I've been very unproductive this week. *sigh* I guess the semester is almost over, and all I want to do is slack off. But I'm gonna be very busy this week---an 8-page paper to write, finals to study for, eep!! The list goes on... *panic attack!*
Anyway, this past Saturday, I thought I'd lost $L when I went to Walgreens and this little Vietnamese market down my house for a bit of grocery-shopping and to pick up some meds. Half an hour later, I was home, panicking, wondering whether I'd lost the $L bill. I frantically looked everywhere, and then I decided to call the pharmacy at Walgreens. They looked for it and said that they didn't see it. I told them that perhaps the Hispanic guy behind me must've picked up the bill when I took the prescription papers out of my jean pockets. I went back to both stores, retraced my steps, trying to find the bill. I finally gave up, went home, tired... and finally, resolved to believe that I've lost it. I'm glad that I didn't lose my mother's credit card though... But $L is a lot! I mean, here I am, trying to save up money for college, and if I lose it, well, my little lifetime savings is a wee bit too broken. And besides, I'm still looking around for a job if someone would give it to me. I hate job-hunting, because then I feel as if though prejudice is always there lingering... Anyway, I cried out of frustration and went to sleep that night, beaten. Next day (Sunday), guess what? The bill was snugly resting in the pockets of my denim purse!! *smacks forehead* And to think that I've gone thru that much trouble!!
Anyway, I'm now a moderator of the famous TW Forum! This is awesome. And remember the online tutoring I've signed up for as a job? Well, I've been waiting forever to get my training from the person who runs the site at Greater Paths, but she always seems to be busy, and I feel like I'm being a burden to her... So, I think I might email her later to just quit, and to tell her to take down my photo-profile page. Oh well, I guess I'll never be able to tutor students online, huh?? I think it's better in person though.
I'm glad everyone is enjoying each other's sites/blogs. =) Makes me melt with happiness. ---> Hehe, just something I want to get out there. Fun, fun, indeed!
I'm so glad that the semester is almost over! After finals are finished next week, I plan to hang out with people I haven't seen for a really long time! Don't know what will happen though. I hope I could spend time with C as well ... *crosses fingers*
