thoughts running riot...
It's already 1am, and I'm still wide awake. Pooh---I guess I have the little restlessness kicking in again... *sigh*
a) Finished my chores today = good!
b) Dark poetry is my biggest focus for the moment, and I've just noticed how my writing has evolved over the years. The poems I thought that were really well written at the time seem to be totally weird and awful when you come back reading them again years later... And you feel kinda embarrassed, thinking: I wrote this?! Ugh! LOL. Anyway, you guys can check out Postpoems, because I have a new poem added. Note to self: Find time to re-organize the poems to that site...
c) Need to pick up medications at Walgreens tomorrow---and also because my brother is complaining about his throat...
d) Tomorrow will be a long day. And Chinese New Year lasts for 10 days?? If it is so, somebody please tell me. I'm not Chinese, but the Vietnamese people traced their roots back to the French and the Chinese---so it's a mixture of both cultures. That's why our language sounds like Chinese when spoken, but the written words are more like French. Kinda weird if you ask me... Anyway, the point is---my grandfather will be at my uncle's house tomorrow---and there will be this family gathering kinda thing just to welcome him home for a while, before he has to go back to the nursing home... My gosh, it just scares me going there, but everyone has to live through old age as a part of life's phases... And then again, I'm kinda used to going to such places... I'm thinking about working at the hospital over the summer just to get some hands-on experience. Besides, you're looking at your new doctor someday!! =D All I need to do is to work hard just so I can get to med school! And I love working with people!
e) Just for this weekend, I've finished watching a few episodes of a few anime series... Ranma 1/2: Season 1, Devil Hunter, and also A Little Snow Fairy Sugar, which is just totally adorable!! <3 <3 I recommend you guys watching that; it's so cute! My favorite fairy is Ginger, the Rain Fairy. Also, this anime has some really good piano pieces---the music is beautiful!
f) I should be going to sleep soon, not to mention I'll be dreaming about the homework I have to do... Uhhh, yeah... *sigh* Procrastination = bad!! But seriously, that just happens every so once in a while. At times, I really get myself sick of putting things off---and so I sometimes can't really procrastinate!
g) Uh, friends? Geez, sometimes I wonder when was the last time I truly really had a decent friend... *sigh* I hate it when all the friends I've made, whom I've known for so long, and then we have to end up going our separate ways... *cry* Ah, it is life, but it's hard to ever forget anyone...
h) Odd... I just read an email with this person asking me if I were to add that person to my friends list... In most cases, I do, but I do check for content when I visit any person's blog. The layout of the blog with all the fancy graphic designs do not matter much to me, as long as it doesn't take too long to download or doesn't crash my computer. Exceptions: If that person is a graphic designer artist... Anyway, I hate blogs that just want other people to add them to promote popularity or serves the purpose of rambling a lot of nonsense or gossip. If I find that it's the case, I have the right not to add that type of blog... But other than that, I'd be happy to add you!
