rambles...
For those of you who are avid journal readers, my apologies for not writing an entry yesterday, or whatever day I did not post... =P
Anyway, finishing 3 classes in 3 hours does actually have its advantages: a) go home early, b) sleep, c) do homework early, and d) have the rest of the day to myself just to do whatever I want! College is a breeze, aside from the workload, that is. But time-wise, it’s awesome.
I do take my education seriously. Besides, I’ve found that mostly all of my teachers/professors were/are so amusing and weird, that is, if I count back to kindergarten. I guess that’s why I’m always motivated to absorb everything I learn, and I’m very fortunate to have such dedicated teachers in my life; and for some, they’ve become my close friends and mentors. =)
So today, I had bio, chem, and English. I still need to shift my numbered-grading-scale-mind to a letter-grading scale-mind, because at UST and probably at all colleges, the professors give you letter grades instead of numbered grades on assignments. Argh. *shrug* What’s the deal anyway??
Hehe. It’s kinda funny, but I got my sample composition back from my English professor, and he wrote on my paper that I’m an “obsessed writer.” LOL. Definitely, no surprise there, but he’s my first prof/teacher ever to call me that, and that’s a great compliment. =P
Ah, I love the quietness right now. My siblings and parents aren’t home to annoy me, and I’m content being solitary for the moment. And just listening to Linkin Park is really relaxing. I just finished listening to “Crawling,” “My December,” and “Forgotten,” and now I’m listening to “Numb.”
Oh yeah, and today I should declare a “Shocking Day” for me, because everything made of metal of some sort that I’m touching is just shocking me! When I open doors to classrooms or even my car door or even the metal parts on the desk and even kitchen appliances, cuz I was cooking myself some lunch. *screams* Now is it me, or I’m being electrocuted randomly? Maybe it’s the crazy weather at the moment, because it’s been quite chilly since last weekend, with the temperature hovering around the late 30’s-50’s all day. But I love the cool weather. It’s so unbearably hot in Houston over the summer, because it’s so humid and hot at the same time! But fortunately, Houston isn’t as bad as those cities in Alabama, because over there, it’s 3x more humid and hotter than Houston! I can’t imagine that!
Currently:
a) Uploading more stories and poems to the Christian Archive, so you guys can check that out! (That’s a total of 17! Whew!)
b) Now on my 4th round of listening to all of Linkin Park’s songs to both albums. Hehe. They’re such a cool band. I’m gonna listen to some Japanese music later...
Things I do need to do:
a) Read for psych---seriously, I'm in love with that class...
b) Do chem homework
c) Start on other miscellaneous homework, which I've listed in my planner!! The list goes on! Argh!! I'm trying to really schedule time to do lots of things this week/weekend...
d) Study for quizzes, more quizzes, and just simply quizzes!!
